AROARA is coming out of hibernation to run winter racing. ARCA will still be running the outddor races during the summer.

Winter Racing is set to begin FRIDAY OCTOBER 17TH. The first race night (17th) will just be a "warm-up" event for the experienced guys to work out the kinks and help the new racers get their cars dialed. For more info, check the forums or feel free to email me.

Important News Regarding the Future of AROARA

I would like to introduce you to Alaska Radio Control Association. This organization will be running all future outdoor race events. This is a new group of highly motivated individuals, headed by Kris Campbell. Kris has gone through great lengths to set up a proper foundation for this new club. I invite you to check out their Facebook page and give 'em a "like". This does not mean that AROARA is going away. It just means that the AROARA name is taking a bit of a hiatus. It's still the same group of guys; just a different name, run by a new group of individuals. It's a "changing of the guard" so to speak.

I'd like to thank all the club members for their participation and most noteably Jeff Adolf, Chris Haigh, Steve Bothell, Scott Schneider for helping me run the races over the years and Bruce Stingley for being the longest tenured active racer I know of and entertaining us with his epic meltdowns!

So be sure to check out Alaska Radio Control Association for further info on future outdoor race events. I'm excited to see what changes they have in store for r/c racing in Alaska.
